Favorite Onscreen Couples

Part of what makes a TV series or film so successful is the chemistry between the onscreen lovers. It might be the hopeless romantic that lives inside of us or the funny game of cat-and-mouse they play while the cameras are rolling. Whatever it is, here’s our list of favorites.
"Yvette & Jodi" - Baby Boy (2001). Whether they were making up or breaking up, their steamy yet rocky relationship has left fans wondering if they had a fling offset.
"Martin" & "Gina" - Martin (1992-1997). Martin and Gina's wacky and lovable relationship put laughter in our hearts week after week.
"Dwayne" & "Whitley" - A Different World (1987-1993). These college sweethearts were a mismatch made it heaven. How many college-bound students were hoping to find love after watching this show?
"Monica" & "Quincy" - Love & Basketball (2000). "All is fair in love and basketball." When Monica challenged Quincy in a game with his heart as the prize, we all melted.
"Justice" & "Lucky" - Poetic Justice (1993). Love in the 'hood never looked so sweet. The edgy and poetic romance between two iconic stars was historical.
"Darius" &"Nina" - Love Jones (1997). Another poetic love story that infused jazz and spoken word into the art of making love.
"Angela" & "Marcus" - Boomerang (1992). We loved watching an "average" girl reform the playa. He chose the sweet girl over the vixen. Their friendship-turned-romance was precious.
